Developer. Researcher. Entrepreneur.
I am a Research Assistant at the Montreal Neurological Institute (McConnell Brain Imaging Centre) working on building a multimodal imaging database under the supervision of Dr. Rick Hoge and Dr. Alan Evans. I am also a startup-driven and data-oriented developer. Previously, I worked as a developer intern at startups Ubriety (2012), Busbud (2014), Frank + Oak (2015), and Bus.com (2015-2016). Additionally, I have worked as an undergraduate research assistant at McGill University (2013) and most recently at MIT (PERG, CSAIL). Recently, my professional interests have expanded from software development to interdisciplinary data science, business intelligence, and machine learning. I have been influenced by Singularity University and I want to be part of a team that applies exponential technologies to solve humanity's grand challenges. I aspire to work at the intersection of research and development, build communities, and inspire peers around me. I am constantly pushing my limits. In my efforts to improve my health and fitness, I am training to complete the Mont-Tremblant 70.3 triathlon in 2017 and the IRONMAN Mont-Tremblant triathlon in 2018. These challenges require me to optimize every aspect of my lifestyle going from personal time-management to swim stroke mechanics. I have also practiced Taekwon-Do ITF for 7 years and I am a red belt with black stripe.
